I am an interdisciplinary designer, specialising in UX, UI, and interaction design, with a particular interest in usability, accessibility, and design systems, and a background in graphic design. Based in Lisbon, Portugal.
I have 10+ years of experience working in diverse domains, designing websites, apps, experiences, and brands that delight and empower people and organisations. I worked with startups and established businesses, both independently and in teams.
I grew up and earned my degree in Gdansk, Poland. Later I moved to Berlin, Germany, where I shaped my professional skills and career. Eventually, I settled down near Lisbon, Portugal, on the Atlantic coast, where I work remotely and keep learning and growing. Meanwhile, I also spent shorter periods living in Milan, Tel Aviv, Madrid, and Barcelona. I believe that experiencing different environments and cultures drove my curiosity, and ability to learn and adapt quickly.
As a designer, I love to be immersed in the problem space and use research to craft experiences, which bring relief and beauty into people's lives. I am passionate about building design systems with accessibility and usability in mind. My mission is to bring clarity and structure to complex and challenging ideas, as well as to find means of creating an emotional bond between people and technology. I am also enthusiastic about sharing my knowledge and experience with emerging designers, which makes my role as a UI design mentor extremely fulfilling. I thrive in an ambitious, ever-evolving work environment.
When I'm not busy with a design project, you'll most often find me at a local café drawing people, gardening, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or hiking with my adorable rescue dog.
